Description: "Lear! The Musical" is the first ever musical adaptation of the entire King Lear story, with original lyrics parodying show tunes and pop songs... oh, and as performed by action figures. Look for Part 2!

kent's "disguise" and the guy getting his eyes gouged out are worth the price of admission alone; this is the only video on here I can watch the whole way through and have fun. how long did it take you to write the songs and film it??

This is exactly what this contest is about. interpreting Shakespeare in an entertaining way that actually adds something to the play and makes it easy to understand. that it manages to hit all the major plot points in a short span of time(in song, no less) is all the more impressive. Part Two really gets things going, but good work! ;)

hmm... another intelligent comment from a discerning veiwer... And "itshuge" definitely sounds like the username of a fine educator, especially judging from that thought-out critical analysis.

As an educator, I find this movie to be bad.
