He shall spurn fate, scorn death, and bear
His hopes 'bove wisdom, grace, and fear.
And you all know, security
Is mortals' chiefest enemy.
He will be fooled into thinking he is greater than fate, he will mock death, and he will think he is above wisdom, grace, and fear. As you all know, overconfidence is man’s greatest enemy.
Music and a song within: 'Come away, come away,' &c
Music plays offstage, and voices sing a song with the words “Come away, come away.”

Hark! I am called. My little spirit, see,
Sits in a foggy cloud and stays for me.
Listen! I’m being called. Look, my little spirit is sitting in a foggy cloud waiting for me.
Exit
HECATE exits.

FIRST WITCH
Come, let’s make haste; she’ll soon be back again.
FIRST WITCH
Come on, let’s hurry. She’ll be back again soon.
Exeunt
They all exit.
