Hello? Who's the doorman around here?

The PORTER opens the door.
                          Where is the Earl?
(to the PORTER) Where's the Earl?
 PORTER
What shall I say you are?
PORTER
Who shall I say you are?
 LORD BARDOLPH
                          Tell thou the Earl
That the Lord Bardolph doth attend him here.

LORD BARDOLPH
Here comes the Earl.
Exit PORTER
The PORTER exits.
 NORTHUMBERLAND
What news, Lord Bardolph? Every minute now
Should be the father of some stratagem.
The times are wild. Contention, like a horse
10 Full of high feeding, madly hath broke loose
And bears down all before him.
NORTHUMBERLAND
What's the news, Lord Bardolph? Every minute, new violence erupts; it is a wild time. Conflict is like a horse, fed with too much rich food: it has broken out uncontrollably, and tramples everyone who stands before it.
